Victims of brain injury cope to daily life by using more of their brains

A recent study concluded that patients who recover fully from brain injury and head trauma may have to use more of their brains than they did prior to the accident or injury. They use more of their brains to complete the same mental tasks. Traumatic brain injury often results in impaired working memory.
