Potential Blood Test for Brain Injuries

The University of Rochester Medical Center is a step closer to releasing a blood test which can detect both the severity and existence of brain injuries. Scientists are claiming this will be a major breakthrough in the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic brain injuries. This new brain injury blood test may be used, in certain instances, in the place of a CT Scan.
